The site puts hundreds of links in your face and asks that you choose between tons of archaic and difficult to understand categories like “desktop tuning”.

Grey, blue, and orange.  That should say enough about Download Route’s design asthetic.  Then again, back in the 1990’s, they called mobile networks “handheld sites” for a reason.

It seems like a lot up front, but each category holds only a few select free mobile downloads, and they aren’t very good.

No points here – it’s just a site with links to other sites’ content half the time. Not impressive at all for a mobile network of any size.

There is no support at all at Download Route.

Social options are also equally lacking. Mobile reviews could at least give users a chance to talk to one another about what is hot.

The original content on Download Route is paltry and uninteresting. The only fun reads were those from other online mobile networks.

Again, buyer beware. This site has a virus check function, but it was cryptic and hard to understand. Good luck.
